Roger Avakian, of Avakian Polychem Consulting, will be awarded the prestigious Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) “Fellow Award” at SPE ANTEC 2020, recognising his contribution to the plastics industry. Fewer than hundred plastics professionals have been awarded this honour over some thirty years, so it is a major achievement. pinfa-na (pinfa North America) is proud to have a “Fellow Awardee” amongst its members, and is grateful for the significant input Roger Avakian has made to pinfa-na since its launch, and continues to make today. Roger is currently coordinating the preparation of the first pinfa training course in “Non-halogenated Flame Retardant Formulation” at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio USA on 19-20th October 2020.
